Compact Stage Series Auxiliary Lighting

The Diode Dynamics SSC1, also known as the Stage Series C1, is designed to provide useful auxiliary illumination from an extremely compact housing.

Its single-LED form factor allows installation in tight spaces on bumpers, roof racks, motorcycles, UTVs, trailers, and other locations where a larger 2-inch or 3-inch LED pod may not fit.

Custom-Engineered TIR Optics

Instead of relying on a traditional reflector, the SSC1 uses a Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optic to collect and precisely direct light from the LED.

The custom-molded TIR optic also serves as the main lens, helping reduce optical losses while creating controlled, application-specific beam patterns.

Available Beam Patterns

Flood: Produces a broad 50x50-degree pattern for uniform illumination. It’s well suited for backup lighting, scene lighting, trailers, campsites, and low-speed applications.

Wide: Produces a 50x20-degree pattern that combines useful horizontal coverage with a tighter vertical spread. This is a versatile choice for general auxiliary lighting.

Spot: Produces a concentrated 7-degree beam designed for long-distance illumination.

An SAE Fog version is also available separately for applications requiring an SAE-specific fog-light pattern.

White or Yellow Output

Stage Series C1 LED Pods are available in two output colors:

Cool White – 6000K: Provides a clean, modern white output designed to complement many factory LED lighting systems.

Selective Yellow – 3000K: Provides a distinctive yellow appearance and high visual contrast.

Available configurations vary by beam pattern and power level.

Amber or Red Backlight

The SSC1 features an integrated backlight that illuminates the TIR optic for a distinctive accent-light appearance.

Depending on the selected configuration, amber or red backlighting is available. This allows the SSC1 to provide accent lighting in addition to its primary auxiliary-light function.

Sport & Pro Power Levels

The Stage Series SSC1 is offered in Sport and Pro configurations. Both use high-intensity LED emitters paired with Diode Dynamics TIR optics, while the Pro version uses a higher amount of total power for increased performance.

Select the appropriate power level based on your desired output and application.

Interchangeable Lenses

Want to change your lighting setup later? The SSC1 uses interchangeable lenses, allowing compatible beam pattern or output-color changes without replacing the entire pod.

This makes the C1 platform particularly useful for custom and evolving vehicle builds.

Flexible Mounting Options

The SSC1 can be used in standard or flush-mount configurations, depending on the hardware selected. Compatible mounting adapters can also allow installation on GoPro-style mounting points.

Diode Dynamics Stage Series lighting is tested for long-term operation from -40°F to 185°F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing.
