Three Lighting Functions in One Pod

The C1R provides three independently controlled outputs from a single compact LED pod.

The high-power white main beam is designed for auxiliary reverse lighting. The high-power red output can be integrated as an additional brake light, while the low-power red output can function as an auxiliary running light.

This triple-function design makes the C1R especially useful for trucks, SUVs, off-road vehicles, UTVs, trailers, and custom rear-lighting applications.

Wide White Flood Beam

The C1R’s white main beam uses an 80x50-degree Flood pattern engineered for broad, even illumination.

Rather than creating a narrow hotspot, the Flood optic distributes light across a wide area, making it well suited for backup lighting, scene lighting, trailers, cargo areas, and other close-range applications.

Flush-Mount Installation

The DD7427S is designed for flush installation, giving the pod a clean, integrated appearance once mounted.

Its ultra-compact form factor allows installation in compatible bumpers, truck beds, and other locations where conventional auxiliary lights may be too large.

Custom-Engineered TIR Optics

Diode Dynamics uses a custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optic to collect and control the LED’s output.

The optic directs the light into the intended beam pattern while reducing wasted light and glare. The TIR optic also serves as the primary lens, helping maintain the C1R’s compact dimensions.

Interchangeable Lens

The C1R features an interchangeable lens design. Compatible replacement lenses can be used to change the optic or color configuration without replacing the complete LED pod.

This provides additional flexibility for custom Stage Series lighting setups.

Integrated Deutsch-Style Connector

The C1R features a custom-molded DT-type Deutsch-style connector and includes a 4-pin, 6-inch pigtail with bare leads.

Wiring functions are:

• Yellow: High-power red
• Red: White main beam
• Blue: Low-power red
• Black: Ground

The independent circuits allow the three lighting functions to be integrated according to the intended vehicle application.

Proven Stage Series Reliability

Stage Series LED lighting has undergone testing for long-term operation from -40°F to 185°F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing.

The C1R also features a pin-fin heatsink design for efficient thermal dissipation in its compact housing.
