Compact 2-Inch LED Pod Performance

The Stage Series C2 1.0 delivers powerful auxiliary lighting from a compact 2-inch LED pod.

Its small footprint makes the C2 1.0 a versatile option for applications where larger auxiliary lights may be difficult to mount, while high-intensity LED emitters and precision optics provide functional illumination for a variety of driving and auxiliary-lighting applications.

High-Efficiency TIR Optics

Instead of relying on a conventional reflector or simple lens, the C2 1.0 uses a custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optic.

The TIR optic collects light from the LED and precisely directs it into the intended beam pattern, helping reduce wasted light and unwanted glare while improving overall optical efficiency.

The custom-molded optic also serves as the main lens, further reducing the light loss associated with conventional multi-lens designs.

Choose Your Beam Pattern

Select the beam pattern that best matches your application.

SAE Driving: Produces a focused 18x8-degree spread designed to supplement high beams while providing useful width for higher-speed driving.

SAE Fog: Uses Diode Dynamics’ FineLine optic to create an extremely wide field of view with high-intensity output across an 80-degree spread.

Flood: Produces a broad 60x60-degree pattern for uniform illumination. It’s ideal for backup lighting, trailers, worksites, and other low-speed applications.

Combo: Combines Driving and Flood optics to produce a focused 40x20-degree rectangular pattern with both downrange and surrounding illumination.

Spot: Produces a concentrated 6-degree beam designed for long-distance illumination.

SAE Driving & Fog Options

Select C2 1.0 configurations are designed for applicable on-road auxiliary-lighting applications.

When installed as a pair and properly aimed according to applicable regulations, the white SAE Driving patternmeets SAE J581 requirements for a Driving/Auxiliary High Beam Light.

The SAE Fog pattern meets SAE J583 requirements for fog-lamp use when installed and aimed as required.

SAE compliance does not automatically apply to every C2 1.0 beam pattern or configuration. Always check applicable state and local laws for installation, aiming, and permitted on-road use.

Cool White or Selective Yellow

Choose between two Stage Series output colors:

6000K Cool White: Provides a crisp white output designed to complement many factory LED lighting systems.

3000K Selective Yellow: Provides a distinctive yellow output with high visual contrast, making it a popular choice for fog and poor-weather lighting applications.

Compatible replacement lenses also allow the optic or output color to be changed later.

Sport or Pro

Choose between two C2 1.0 performance levels.

Sport: Uses high-intensity LED emitters and precision TIR optics for a strong balance of performance and value.

Pro: Provides approximately double the total power of the Sport version for increased lighting performance.

Both configurations use Stage Series TIR optics for focused, functional illumination.

Amber or Red Backlight

The C2 1.0 features an integrated backlight that illuminates the TIR optic itself for a distinctive appearance when the main beam isn’t in use.

Backlight availability depends on the selected main output:

• Amber Backlight: Available with white or yellow main output
• Red Backlight: Available with white main output only

Always verify applicable vehicle-lighting regulations before using accent lighting on public roads.

Durable Stage Series Construction

The C2 1.0 features a durable powder-coated aluminum housing and pin-fin heatsink design for effective thermal management.

Stage Series lighting has been tested for long-term operation from -40°F to 185°F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing.

Simple Connections

Each C2 1.0 LED Pod features an integrated DT-type Deutsch-style connector and includes a 6-inch pigtail with bare leads.

The pods can be integrated using a compatible wiring solution based on your installation requirements.
