More Performance From a Compact 2-Inch Pod

The C2 2.0 builds on the original C2 with a redesigned internal architecture engineered for greater performance.

A new copper-core circuit board is bonded directly to the LED chips to improve thermal efficiency, while the redesigned powder-coated aluminum housing helps dissipate additional heat. Together, these improvements allow the C2 2.0 to produce greater power and light output while retaining its compact footprint.

Sport, Pro or Max

Choose from three C2 2.0 performance levels depending on your lighting needs.

Sport: A value-focused option using high-intensity, automotive-grade LED emitters and precision TIR optics.

Pro: Increases total power for a noticeable step up in lighting performance.

Max: The highest-output C2 2.0, using Osram HX Boost LEDs to deliver up to 3,900 raw lumens from a compact 2-inch pod.

All three options use high-intensity LED emitters and precision optics for focused, usable illumination.

Patented TIR Optics

The C2 2.0 features re-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics designed to precisely control the light produced by the LEDs.

Compared with the original C2, the redesigned optics provide up to 120% more intensity, directing more usable light where it’s needed while reducing wasted light and glare.

Each optic is engineered around a specific beam pattern for functional, real-world illumination.

Choose Your Beam Pattern

Configure your C2 2.0 LED Pods with the beam pattern that best suits your application.

Combo/Driving: Produces a 55x20-degree rectangular beam combining useful width with strong downrange illumination. It’s an excellent all-around option for varying terrain and applications.

SAE Driving: Produces a 20x12-degree pattern designed to supplement high beams while providing useful width for higher-speed driving.

SAE Fog/Wide: Uses Diode Dynamics’ FineLine optic to create an exceptionally wide 90x10-degree pattern, illuminating the area directly ahead of the vehicle.

Flood: Delivers broad, uniform illumination through a 70x45-degree spread. It’s well suited for backup lighting, campsites, trailers, worksites, and low-speed applications.

Spot: Produces a concentrated 8-degree beam designed for long-distance illumination.

SAE Driving & Fog Applications

When installed as a pair and properly aimed according to applicable regulations, the white SAE Driving pattern meets SAE J581 requirements for a Driving/Auxiliary High Beam Light, while the SAE Fog/Wide pattern meets SAE J583 requirements for fog-lamp use.

Amber or Red Backlight

The C2 2.0 features an integrated backlight available in amber or red.

The backlight illuminates the TIR optic itself for a distinctive appearance and additional visibility when the main beam isn’t in use.

Amber is a natural choice for forward-facing applications where you want to complement factory marker lighting.

Red is well suited for rear-facing installations where you want to complement factory taillight styling.

Adjustable Mounting

The C2 2.0 is built for flexible installation in tight spaces.

Three mounting points allow you to adjust the height of each pod, while the redesigned bracket provides additional angle adjustment. This makes it easier to dial in the position and aim for your specific installation.

Swappable Optics & Colors

C2 2.0 lenses are interchangeable, allowing you to change the beam pattern or output color without replacing the entire pod.

The C2 2.0 uses the same high-output Cool White LED chips for both white and yellow configurations, allowing the output color to be changed with a compatible replacement lens.

CrossLink Compatible

Want to expand beyond a pair of pods? The C2 2.0 is compatible with Diode Dynamics CrossLink technology, allowing multiple pods to be connected to create a custom lightbar configuration.

This makes the compact C2 2.0 platform suitable for everything from individual auxiliary lights to larger multi-pod setups.
