Plug-and-Play 7-Pin Installation

The Stage Series Reverse Light Kit is designed to integrate cleanly with your 2025+ Toyota 4Runner.

The included harness connects directly to the vehicle’s factory 7-pin trailer connector, eliminating the need for complicated custom wiring. Once connected, the auxiliary white lights automatically activate when the 4Runner is shifted into reverse.

The result is an integrated lighting upgrade that provides additional rear visibility without requiring extensive modifications to your vehicle.

Brighter Toyota 4Runner Backup Lighting

Factory reverse lighting can leave large areas behind your vehicle difficult to see after dark. This kit supplements the factory lights with two high-output Stage Series LED pods mounted underneath the rear bumper.

The additional illumination is especially useful when backing into dark parking areas, navigating trails, maneuvering around campsites, or reversing in poorly illuminated environments.

Integrated Red Accent Lighting

The Stage Series pods feature an integrated red backlight that functions as an additional running/accent light.

Instead of using a few small indicator LEDs, the backlight illuminates the pod’s TIR optic, creating a distinctive and modern appearance at the rear of your 4Runner.

Optional C1R or C2R 4th Brake Light

For additional functionality, C1R and C2R configurations add a high-power red output that operates as an auxiliary 4th brake light.

When the brakes are applied, the high-power red function activates to provide additional rear-facing illumination. These configurations retain the low-power red running light along with the high-power white reverse function.

SafetyStrobe Functionality

C1R and C2R options also support Diode Dynamics SafetyStrobe functionality.

By default, the high-power red brake output flashes three times when the brakes are initially applied. The strobe feature can be disabled if desired.

Always verify applicable state and local lighting regulations before using auxiliary brake-light or strobe functions on public roads.

Patented TIR Optics

Diode Dynamics Stage Series LED pods use Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics to collect and direct LED output into a useful beam.

Rather than relying on a conventional reflector and separate outer lens, the custom-molded optic helps direct the available light where it’s needed while reducing wasted output and glare.

Wide Flood Beam Pattern

The Flood optics are designed specifically for broad, even illumination behind the vehicle.

SSC1 Flood: 50° x 50° beam pattern
C2 2.0 Flood: 70° x 45° beam pattern

This wide coverage makes the lights well suited for reversing and other situations where illuminating a large area behind the 4Runner is more useful than projecting a narrow beam far downrange.

Sport, Pro and Max Performance Options

Max is available with the C2 2.0 platform and uses Osram HX Boost LEDs to produce 3,900 raw lumens, delivering substantial output from an extremely compact pod.
