Direct-Fit Type B Installation

The SS3 Type B kit is engineered to replace compatible factory fog light assemblies without requiring extensive vehicle modification.

Simply remove the original fog lamps, install the included Type B brackets and SS3 LED pods, and connect the supplied wiring adapters to the factory fog light connections.

SAE-Compliant Fog Beam

The SS3 SAE Fog optic is designed specifically for functional on-road fog lighting.

Diode Dynamics’ FineLine optic creates an extremely wide field of illumination across an approximately 80-degree spread, putting useful light across the roadway while maintaining a controlled beam.

When installed as a pair and properly aimed, the Fog pattern meets the SAE J583 standard for fog lamps. Always follow applicable local regulations regarding installation, aiming, and road use.

Advanced TIR Optics

The SS3 uses custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics instead of relying on a conventional reflector and separate outer lens.
