Direct-Fit Type CGX Fog Light Upgrade

The SS3 Type CGX kit is designed to replace the factory fog light assemblies found on a range of Toyota and Lexus vehicles.

Custom-molded brackets position the SS3 pods correctly in the factory fog light locations, while angled bezels provide a clean, integrated appearance.

Two H11-size DT adapter wires are included, allowing the SS3 pods to connect directly to compatible factory bulb sockets without additional main-beam wiring.

SAE-Compliant Fog Beam

The SS3’s SAE Fog pattern uses Diode Dynamics’ FineLine optic design to produce an extremely wide field of usable illumination.

With an approximately 80-degree horizontal spread, the beam is engineered to illuminate the road ahead while maintaining controlled output and minimizing unnecessary glare.

When installed as a pair and properly aimed, the Fog pattern meets the SAE J583 standard for fog lamps. Local regulations regarding installation, aiming, and road use should always be followed.

Advanced TIR Optics

Instead of relying on conventional reflector-style optics, the SS3 uses custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics.

The TIR system collects and directs LED output into the intended beam pattern, improving efficiency and reducing wasted light. The optic also functions as the primary lens, further improving light transmission compared with designs that require a separate outer lens.
