Compact SAE Fog Light Performance

The Stage Series C1 SAE Fog combines a compact single-LED form factor with a purpose-built fog-light optic.

Designed using optical simulation modeling, the SSC1 produces a controlled pattern engineered specifically for fog-light applications. Its small footprint also makes it easier to integrate into vehicles where traditional fog lights or larger LED pods won’t fit.

SAE J583 Fog Beam

The SSC1 SAE Fog provides high-intensity output across an extremely wide 98-degree spread, illuminating the area directly ahead of your vehicle.

This fog pattern meets the SAE J583 standard as a fog lamp for applicable on-road use.

Proper installation and aiming are essential. Always check state and local regulations regarding vehicle lighting, mounting, aiming, and backlight use.

Automotive-Grade Osram HX Boost LED

Each SSC1 SAE Fog Pod uses a single automotive-grade Osram HX Boost 20-watt LED.

Combined with the Stage Series TIR optic, the high-output LED allows the SSC1 to deliver functional fog-light performance while maintaining its ultra-compact housing.

Custom-Engineered TIR Optics

The SSC1 uses a custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optic rather than a traditional reflector or simple lens.

The TIR optic collects light from the LED and directs it into the intended fog pattern, helping reduce wasted light and glare while increasing optical efficiency.

Because the custom-molded TIR optic also serves as the primary lens, additional light loss through a separate outer lens is reduced.

6000K Cool White Output

The DD6847P configuration features a 6000K cool white main output.

This crisp white color complements many factory LED headlights and provides a modern appearance for auxiliary fog-light installations.

A selective-yellow Stage Series C1 SAE Fog configuration is also available separately.
