Ultra-Compact Auxiliary LED Lighting

The SSC1 is designed to deliver useful Stage Series lighting performance in an exceptionally compact package.

Its small single-LED form factor makes it easy to install in locations where larger LED pods may not fit. Use the SSC1 on cars, trucks, motorcycles, UTVs, trailers, roof racks, and custom lighting setups.

Standard and flush-mount configurations are available, and compatible adapters can even allow installation on GoPro-style mounting points.

Custom-Engineered TIR Optics

Instead of relying on a conventional reflector or simple lens, the SSC1 uses a custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optic.

The TIR optic collects light from the LED and directs it into a controlled beam pattern, reducing wasted light and glare while improving optical efficiency.

The custom-molded optic also serves as the primary lens, helping maximize usable output from the SSC1’s compact housing.

Choose Your Beam Pattern

Configure your SSC1 LED Pods with a beam pattern suited to your application.

Flood: Produces a broad 50x50-degree pattern with uniform illumination. It’s an excellent choice for backup lighting, scene lighting, trailers, roof racks, and other applications where broad coverage is needed.

Wide: Produces a 50-degree horizontal spread with a tighter 20-degree vertical pattern. This provides broad general-purpose illumination while retaining some forward reach.

Spot: Produces a focused 7-degree beam designed to send light farther downrange. It’s ideal when distance is more important than broad surrounding illumination.

An SAE Fog version is available separately.

Cool White or Selective Yellow

SSC1 Stage Series LED Pods are available in two output colors.

6000K Cool White: Produces a crisp cool-white output that complements many factory LED lighting systems.

3000K Selective Yellow: Provides a distinctive yellow output with strong visual contrast, making it a popular choice for poor-weather and off-road applications.

Sport or Pro Power

Choose between two performance levels depending on your lighting requirements.

Sport: Provides high-intensity LED output with Stage Series TIR optics for a strong balance of performance and value.

Pro: Uses a higher amount of total power for increased lighting performance.

Both options use precision TIR optics to produce focused, functional beam patterns.

Amber or Red Backlight

The SSC1 includes an integrated backlight available in amber or red, depending on configuration.

Rather than illuminating only a small indicator LED, the backlight illuminates the TIR optic itself. This gives the pod a distinctive appearance while adding a secondary accent-light function alongside the main beam.

Interchangeable Lenses

Want to change the beam pattern or output color later? Compatible SSC1 replacement lenses allow you to modify the optic without replacing the complete LED pod.

This adds flexibility if your vehicle or lighting setup changes in the future.

Diode Dynamics Stage Series lighting has been extensively tested for long-term operation from -40°F to 185°F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing.
