Next-Generation C2 Performance

The C2 2.0 builds on the original C2 platform with major improvements to power, light output, thermal efficiency, and versatility.

A new copper-core circuit board is bonded directly to the LED chips for improved thermal performance. The powder-coated aluminum housing has also been redesigned to dissipate additional heat, allowing the C2 2.0 to produce greater output while retaining its compact footprint.

Sport, Pro or Max

Choose from three performance levels to match your lighting needs.

Sport: A value-focused option using high-intensity, automotive-grade LED emitters and precision TIR optics.

Pro: Steps up performance with a noticeable increase in total power.

Max: Uses Osram HX Boost LEDs to deliver up to 3,900 raw lumens from a compact 2-inch pod.

All three versions combine high-intensity LED emitters with precision TIR optics for focused, usable illumination.

Patented TIR Optics

The C2 2.0 features re-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics designed to precisely control the light produced by the LEDs.

Compared with the C2 1.0, the redesigned optics provide up to 120% more intensity, directing more usable light where it’s needed while reducing wasted light and glare.

Each optic is engineered around its specific beam pattern for functional real-world illumination.

Choose Your Beam Pattern

Configure your C2 2.0 LED Pod with the beam pattern best suited to your application.

Combo/Driving: Produces a 55x20-degree rectangular beam that balances width with downrange illumination for versatile, all-around use.

SAE Driving: Produces a 20x12-degree pattern designed to supplement high beams while providing useful width for higher-speed driving.

SAE Fog/Wide: Uses Diode Dynamics’ FineLine optic to produce an exceptionally wide 90x10-degree beam that illuminates the area directly ahead of the vehicle.

Flood: Produces broad, uniform illumination with a 70x45-degree spread. It’s ideal for backup lighting, campsites, trailers, worksites, and other low-speed applications.

Spot: Produces a concentrated 8-degree beam designed for long-distance illumination.

Cool White or Yellow Output

Choose between cool white and yellow output depending on your setup and application.

The C2 2.0 uses the same high-output Cool White LED chips for both configurations. Compatible replacement lenses allow the output color to be changed without replacing the complete pod.

The interchangeable lens system also allows you to change the optic if your lighting needs change later.

Amber or Red Backlight

The C2 2.0 features an integrated backlight available in amber or red.

Rather than illuminating only a small indicator LED, the backlight illuminates the TIR optic itself for a distinctive appearance and additional visibility when the main beam isn’t in use.

Amber is well suited to forward-facing applications where you want to complement factory marker lighting.

Red is a natural choice for rear-facing installations where you want to complement factory taillight styling.

Adjustable Mounting

The compact C2 2.0 is designed for flexible installation in tight mounting locations.

Three mounting points allow you to adjust the pod’s height, while the redesigned mounting bracket provides additional angle adjustment. This makes it easier to position and aim the light for your specific setup.

CrossLink Compatible

The C2 2.0 is compatible with Diode Dynamics CrossLink technology, allowing multiple pods to be connected to create a custom lightbar configuration.

You can start with an individual pod and expand your lighting setup using compatible CrossLink mounting components.

SAE Driving & Fog Applications

When C2 2.0 LED Pods are installed as a pair and properly aimed according to applicable regulations, the white SAE Driving configuration meets SAE J581 requirements for a Driving/Auxiliary High Beam Light, while the SAE Fog/Wide configuration meets SAE J583 requirements for fog-lamp use.

Important: This listing includes only one C2 2.0 LED Pod. A second pod is required for the referenced paired SAE applications.
