Compact Flush-Mount Design

The SSC1 is Diode Dynamics’ compact Stage Series C1 platform, making it ideal for installations where space is at a premium.

Its flush-mount configuration allows the light to integrate neatly into compatible bumpers, truck beds, trailers, cargo areas, and custom mounting surfaces, delivering a cleaner appearance than a traditional surface-mounted LED pod.

Custom-Engineered TIR Optics

The Stage Series C1 uses a custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optic to collect and control the light produced by the LED.

Instead of relying on a conventional reflector and separate outer lens, the TIR optic directs the LED output into a purpose-built beam pattern while helping reduce wasted light and unwanted glare.

Functional Flood Output

The available Flood pattern delivers an even 50x50-degree spread of light, providing broad illumination for close-range applications.

This beam pattern is well suited for backup lighting, truck beds, scene lighting, trailers, roof racks, campsites, and low-speed off-road use.

An SAE Fog version is available separately for applications requiring an SAE-specific fog beam.

White or Yellow Output

Stage Series C1 LED Pods are offered in two primary output colors:

• Cool White – 6000K: Crisp white output that complements many factory LED lighting systems.
• Selective Yellow – 3000K: Distinctive yellow output suitable for drivers who prefer a high-contrast auxiliary lighting appearance.

Availability depends on the selected SSC1 configuration.

Integrated Backlight

The SSC1 includes an integrated accent backlight available in amber or red, depending on configuration.

Rather than using a small indicator LED, the backlight illuminates the TIR optic itself, creating a distinctive appearance while adding a secondary accent-light function to the pod.

Sport or Pro Power Levels

SSC1 Stage Series LED Pods are offered in Sport and Pro configurations. Both use high-intensity LED emitters and engineered TIR optics, while the Pro configuration provides a higher total power level.

This allows you to choose the configuration that best matches your lighting requirements and budget.

Interchangeable Lens

The SSC1 uses an interchangeable lens system. Compatible replacement lenses allow you to modify the optic or output color without replacing the entire LED pod.

This makes it easier to adapt your lighting setup as your vehicle or application changes.

Deutsch-Style Connection

Each SSC1 features a custom-molded DT-type Deutsch-style connector and includes a 6-inch wire pigtail with bare leads.

The connector provides a convenient solution for custom wiring or integration with a compatible Diode Dynamics wiring harness.

Built for Demanding Conditions

Stage Series LED lighting has been tested for long-term operation from -40°F to 185°F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing.

The SSC1 also incorporates a pin-fin heatsink design to efficiently dissipate heat from its compact housing.
