Custom-Engineered TIR Optics

The C2 1.0 uses a custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optic rather than relying on a conventional reflector or simple lens.

The TIR optic collects light from the LED and precisely directs it into the intended beam pattern, helping reduce wasted light and unwanted glare while maximizing usable illumination.

The molded optic also serves as the main lens for greater optical efficiency.

Configure your C2 1.0 Sport LED Pod with the beam pattern that best matches your application.

SAE Driving: Produces a focused 18x8-degree spread designed to supplement high beams while providing useful width for higher-speed driving.

SAE Fog: Uses Diode Dynamics’ FineLine optic to create an extremely wide 80-degree field of view for illuminating the area directly ahead of the vehicle.

Flood: Produces a uniform 60x60-degree spread ideal for backup lighting, trailers, worksites, and other low-speed applications.

Combo: Combines Driving and Flood optics to produce a 40x20-degree rectangular beam with both downrange and surrounding illumination.

Spot: Produces a highly focused 6-degree beam designed for long-distance illumination.

6000K Cool White Output

This C2 1.0 configuration features a 6000K cool white main output for crisp illumination that complements the appearance of many factory LED lighting systems.

Compatible replacement lenses are also available, allowing the optic or output color to be changed for different applications.

When C2 1.0 LED Pods are installed as a pair and properly aimed according to applicable regulations, the white SAE Driving pattern meets SAE J581 requirements for a Driving/Auxiliary High Beam Light, while the SAE Fog pattern meets SAE J583 requirements for fog-lamp use.

Important: This listing includes only one C2 1.0 LED Pod. A second pod is required for the referenced paired SAE applications.

SAE compliance does not automatically apply to every beam pattern. Always check applicable state and local regulations for installation, aiming, and permitted on-road use.

Durable Stage Series Construction

The C2 1.0 features a durable powder-coated aluminum housing with a pin-fin heatsink design for effective thermal management.
